Comcast Corporation Complaint - Comcast should not be allowed to use the word "service" unless BAD comes first!
GENEVA, ILLINOIS -- I have been without internet service for 10 days. they told me that I had to wait for 5 days to get a technician. I waited all day. they called me via a machine 5 times to say that my technician was coming. no one showed up. they then said that they would reschedule me for two days from then. I waited 9 more hours only to be told at the end of the day that they only have one technician and he does not know anything about internet service, so it would not do any good for him to show up. I was then rescheduled for a third time and once again, my time slow of 10-1 has come and gone without anyone showing up. I have called them two times today and both times I was told that a supervisor would call back. what a joke! I have now been told that they had to change my appointment because the technician is too busy today. it is not surprizing that their technicians are so busy with a company that continually has service interruptions!!! NO ONE should have Comcast if service matters!! I have spoke to three supervisors and not one has apoligized for their lack of service, and every person I talk to promises to call back and the only one who did was Fred, who called back to say that could not make it out and there was nothing he coul do. Darnel absolutely promised they would come to my house first today because he could see how many calls there had been and that they had not showed up for their first two appointments. I plan to file complaints with every possible source including ICC, FCC and Better Business Bureau, plus any comparable sites. I am outraged at the way I have been treated and expect to be compenstated for my time and the stress that this has caused, not to include the lack of business as I have a home based business. to add insult to injury, yesterday I got my comcast bill and they have increased my rates. So, when you see the AT&T commercial that says beware of companies like Comcast who do not tell you that your rate will increase, it is true. Comcast should be investigated for unscrupulous business practices.
