Capitol One Credit Card Informative - Cancelled My Account With No Notice

Review by emmy1 on 2008-11-05
After being a loyal customer for many years with a 20,000. line of credit, Capital One has cancelled my account, and with no notice I might add. As I am writing this I am listening to their obnoxious music while they claim my call is important to them. Then why have I been on hold for 29 minutes now?? For a month and a half they have been calling me asking about "possible" fraudulent charges. They are the usual 70.-80. dollar charges at the grocery store, liquor store, Home Depot, etc. NOW they claim a charge is obviously fraudulent as it is from a hardware store in West Virginia. (I live in Wisconsin). I said no, that store is in Marshall, WI, not Marshall, WV. They won't hear of it.

I got madder after I hung up the first time, so I called them back, talked to two different people, asked for a supervisor, and of course have now been on hold for 38 minutes.
