Sears Complaint - Sears doesn't care about it's customers anymore
FAYETTEVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA -- Every year I buy one or two major utilities for my kitchen and always catch the sales on craftsman products. During the first part of December 2003, my 10 month old expensive range blew up on me. I called sears, they came out on the 24th of December (which is bs considering Christmas is the 25th). At this time they couldn't fix the range, because they had to order a part, then the repair person tried to put the blame of the range burning up on someone else other than a faulty part. On top of this all, he said the next appointment would be on the 2nd of January of 2004, the part came in on the 3rd. When I called to set up an appointment to have my range fixed, the earliest date would be January 14th of 2004, which means I havn't been able to cook since early December, couldn't have Christmas dinner this year and now they say I have to go without cooking for another 2 weeks. My problem is I have explained several times in the past I have a terminally ill patient, a handicapped child and an infant in my home that have to have certain things...my question is does sears care... the answer is NO!!! I think in all the years I have been dealing with Sears, I've never had any problems, I didn't have problems when the range blew up, my problem is no one seems to care I have a full warranty on my products I buy at Sears...and that I need my range due to the people living in my home that are sick. Sears does not care about the little man anymore and it's a shame. I'll never buy there again! I just want my Range fixed now!!!It's been a month, Sears needs to get with the program and start treating people with a little bit more respect since the little people are the ones buying their products!
