Burger King Compliment - Cost Saving - Customer Service
TUSCALOOSA, ALABAMA -- Me and my wife stopped at the Store in Tuscaloosa, Al on McFarland Blvd. When I used to work there 10 years ago or so we where the busiest store in the chain of 200 plus. We were greeted promptly, the restaurant was clean the employees neat. One of the guys I hired in was running the store now. Other than cutting the crew size by a third and the death of the original owners nothing has changed. On a game day the store still pulls in 15 to 20k a day and 8 to 11k during the week. The drive thru speaks still don't work right but they finally got Mickey. Turning in the paper work to hire Mickey T. Mouse on the grounds that we couldn't catch him we might as well hire him had a little to do with my leaving.
Statically the complaints are still insignificant, the pay lousy, the expectations unrealistic and the customers annoying. I miss the old 15th street store, stoned college kids are with out a doubt the best customers ever.
