Tigerdirect Compliment - Great prices and fast shipping
Compliment

I've been buying from Tigerdirect since 2005, and I've always been impressed with the pricing and how quickly they manage to get my stuff to me. On average, when I was living in Illinois, if I ordered in the morning or early afternoon, I'd probably have my new computer parts in my hands the next day. Otherwise, two days. Since moving to Missouri, the couple of times I've ordered from them took about 2-3 days, but that's still not bad at all.
Regarding pricing, their prices tend to beat local places hands down. A while back, I wanted to get an extra gigabyte of RAM for my girlfriend's PC to help it run a bit better, so we went to a local computer place. I asked for a 1 GB stick of Ultra DDR ram, and found out he was charging $90 for it. I politely declined. In comparison, TD sells the same RAM for $30 (might have been priced a bit differently at the time, this was a bit back) plus shipping and tax. A new 500 GB SATA hard drive from Walmart easily cost me 15 dollars more than an identical one from TD would have, shipped.
On another positive note, their website is laid out pretty well, and I can easily find what I'm looking for quickly.
One negative thing I do feel like mentioning though, the onrebate company that they used to go through for their rebates is/was a complete scam. It took me about a year and a half to get $80 worth of rebates, and that's AFTER I complained to the BBB. I probably never would have seen it otherwise. The current rebate company they're using, worldwiderebates looks like more of the same from BBB reports, though I don't have any personal experience with them.
