Expert Appliance Complaint - Cashed Check - Didn't Send Part

KANSAS -- July 2008 - my Father ordered part through mail with personal check. Check cashed within two weeks - part never came. End of August, after being told over and over part was on it's way he canceled the order. Followed up with numerous phone calls - always being told the refund check would be issued soon. FIVE months later check has NEVER arrived. We are submitting complaints with the Attorney General in Nevada and Florida as well as the FTC. The business has got to stop their horrible practices. Don't support them by sending them money for any thing. If you have any problem at all you'll only end up with a headache.

If ANY one out there has any suggestions how to get the money refunded please post a note to this website. This is demeaning and fraudulent. Emails to customer service and president of company went unanswered.

I've encountered a similar situation only once in my life. Paid for an item online that was advertised as on Backorder but expected to ship within 3 days. I let 2 weeks go by, and the status still hadn't changed. I requested to have the order cancelled and the money returned. Two months..still no refund. After receiving more runaround, I threatened making a report to the Better Business Bureau. The charge was reversed the next day.
