Bagel Oasis Complaint - Newspaper - Part Of Paper

Review by too old on 2008-11-10
QUEENS, NEW YORK -- 32 color section was taken out of most if not all of your papers. Some people can go back but what about the older people who were cheated out of what they paid for. This was the Sunday daily news 11-09-08. Why should people pay for a whole paper and not get it. If this store wanted to sell them they should have ordered more instead of stealing from the people who came in to buy papers from them they have shown they are not to be trusted.

I'm sure if you check with others who bought papers there you will find out they are not happy.

Why would they take one section out of the papers they sell? Isn't it more likely that the newspaper distribution company failed to put them in?
I didn't get the TV guide section in my Boston Globe yesterday. I'm pretty sure the paper boy didn't steal it.

I receive the daily newspaper in this area and many times will have 2-3 copies of the same inserts and none of the inserts others receive. This is usually a problem with the newspaper, not the store that sells them or the person who delivers them.

If you buy your Sunday newspaper in the store, they get the "ads" seperately and usually a day or two before the actual newspaper...they have to put the papers together before selling them. I believe the paperboy/girl also has to put their papers together as well.

Our Sunday newspaper no longer offers the TV Guide with the paper IF you buy it at the store, you can only get the TV Guide if you get the home delivery...yet we still have to pay full price as we did when we DID get the TV Guide with it.

Sometimes I get 4-5 copies of the same ads as well and of course it's NEVER the coupon sections! Also, you have to watch because some of the store ads you get in the newspaper has different items on sale than the store ads you pick up in the stores...I always take my ad with me, I bought something and they rang up the wrong price, I told them it was wrong and they checked their ad and it was the right price, then I showed them my ad and the price was different. Then the manager stated the prices in the newspaper store ads are sometimes different than the prices in the in-store store ads. What's up with THAT?
