Winco Complaint - Horrible Customer Service!

Review by MacMac7374 on 2008-11-10
VANCOUVER, WASHINGTON -- I have had so many disappointing experiences at Winco that it's hard to pick just one. We tried to get customer service to announce that a customer had their car lights on - providing them with the make, model, and plate number - just to have them to flatly refuse. The straw that broke the camels back for me was when they informed me that my well behaved, happy, and obedient 2-year-old could not walk, but must be in the cart and then they proceeded to follow me around the store, making rude comments, because I decided to carry him. I left there - went to Safeway - and there let my child walk around with me...

They were polite, even offering him a banana! We will not be shopping at any Winco again. Other stores step up in the customer service area but also offer food and FUEL discounts! Why suffer through their incredibly bad company policies and impolite staff when you don't have to? I certainly won't.

I wouldn't consider strangers offering your children food a good thing.

So that was YOUR kid stuffing his face with a banana that I had to keep dodging around in the aisle after he pulled all the stuff off the bottom shelves? You're lucky I didn't drive over him. Yeah--I'll just bet he's an 'obedient' two year old.
