Overstock.com Complaint - Overstock Selling Already Damaged Merchandise
This was the third time I ordered from Overstock in the past year, and all three times the products arrived severely damaged. With this last order, I ordered a sapphire pendant that arrived cracked and chipped. The box was undamaged, so Overstock sent it this way. I returned it, citing that it was damaged. Overstock only gave me 1/2 of my money back, stating it was damaged and therefore could not be restocked (so no one looked at my reasons for returning it before issuing me only a partial refund). For my previous experience, I ordered furniture that arrived damaged (again, the box was in good condition, so they sold a damaged product - it was not damaged during shipping). I returned it, and the replacement also arrived damaged and literally falling apart (wooden pieces had come off).
When I returned that, Overstock sent me the first item back as a replacement (so they had re-shelved and resold the first damaged item that I returned to them due to damage)!
