Dish Network Complaint - Quit Calling My House!!!
SANFORD, FLORIDA -- Every day or so (sometimes multiple times a day) I get an automated recorded call from Dish Network telling me that I should sign up with their service, or that there is such a good deal for satellite TV in the area, or fake customer testimonies about how good their service is, and that I should push 1 to speak to a representative.
Since I did not wish to switch to Dish Network, especially since I was completely satisfied with my cable company, after two years of these calls and moving three times and getting 50 calls in August alone, I decided to push 1 to tell them to quit calling me. The first time after the agent picked up, I told him that I did not wish to switch to Dish and I requested that they stop calling me. The agent's only response was to hang up on me. Five minutes later I got another automatic call from Dish Network.
After another week and several calls from Dish later, I pushed 1 again to speak to an agent again. The agent picked up, sounded like a foreign Asian man, and the entire transcript of the call is as follows:
2 seconds later the call was disconnected by the agent.
A few days later and several calls later I hit 1 again. It sounded like I got connected to a call center, then I was immediately disconnected by them again.
And yet I continue to get calls to subscribe to Dish Network. This is absolutely ridiculous that you bombard my telephone line with automated messages, and then the agent immediately disconnects the call if I do push 1.
So Dish Network, STOP CALLING MY HOUSE!
