TixNix Complaint - Save Your Money! - Attorney Services for Speeding Ticket

Review by cardiac01 on 2008-11-13
HOUSTON -- Received a speeding ticket in April 2007 and decided to fight it. Contacted this service who connected me to an attorney in Houston who gladly accepted the $275.00 fee his firm quoted. Afterwards, they never initiated contact again. Each time I contacted them, they said, "A court date has not been set yet".

Now, so much time has passed that I'm no longer in their data base and when I contact the attorney, they simply state, "Contact TixNix...we can't help you" and TixNix has yet to respond to inquires.

Tell ya what, ya better contact the TX DMV to be sure you did not miss your court date and are driving on a suspended or revoked license.

TixNix has had problems with several attorneys over the several years that we have existed. We now have a highly sophisticated ranking system that we use to cull attorneys that aren't working out. This is an important part of maintaining a large network.

Once you have retained the services of an attorney, they are fully responsible for completing service. If they perform in a sub-standard or even fraudulent manner, please contact the State Bar immediately. The state bar is the organization that regulates attorneys in any given state. Attorneys are held to strict business and ethical standards and are fined, sanctioned, disbarred, etc. for not following these standards.
