Digital Path High Speed Internet Complaint - Don't Trust Digital Path Onsite Surveyors

Review by Concow on 2008-11-14
CONCOW, CALIFORNIA -- The first week of November, 2008, Digital Path came to our Rural Home in Concow, CA for an Onsite Evaluation as to if we could get service. The Digital Path Surveyor came out and looked at our heavily forested area, and told us that if we hired a Tree Climber, he said it should work. However we’d have to pay the Tree Climber regardless of the success or failure of the install, or attempted install.
Based on what the Digital Path person told us, we set up an appointment to have the tree climber install the antenna. Then Today, November14, 2008- When he got there, he stated he had his doubts about what we were told but that one particular tree Might work, If he could see the tower from the top of the tree, which he said he could see. However, it didn’t receive the signal.

So Now I Am Out One Hundred Dollars For Absolutely Nothing In Return, all because the Digital Path On Site Surveyor Told Us We Could Get It. I wonder These guys get a kickback or something by telling people they can get the service when they can’t.

So TAKE WARNING About Trusting What Digital Path Tells You! We got shafted..Don’t you do the same!

He didn't tell you that you were guaranteed. In fact, he specifically said that you would have to pay even if you couldn't get service. You hired the tree climber knowing this, so what's the problem? There is no complaint.

I do appreciate your Dickinson-like capitalization technique, however, so kudos for that.
