Prestige Fence Company Complaint - Still Have Not Heard From Them
GREENFIELD, INDIANA -- Oct 7th of this year we put $931.00 down for a fence for our back yard. The quote from owner was that it would be started and done 10 days to 2 weeks. When we had not heard from him for over 10 days I started calling and emailing when finally his wife emailed back saying “he had emergency surgery that first week, and our fence would be started within 2 weeks of when my check cleared.” My check cleared my account Oct 14th. He then emailed saying he will call me. I asked about his crew doing the work and he claims he has to be there.
So I waited for another week and had not heard from him so I started emailing and calling again with no response. My Husband and I on Thursday the 30th went to his business where we found out then it was he home. He was very irritated with us coming there but as we explained we thought we were coming to a business and not a home. He wants to get better so we asked for our money back so we can get someone else to do the fence and of course he said “no, you can take me to court”. I said “I don’t want to go to court I just want my damn fence” which made him very angry and he got up out of the chair and got in my face and told us to leave so we turned around and left.
I sent him an email when I got home apologizing for my cursing and a change that we have been wanting to tell him but can’t because he won’t respond.
As of today we still have not heard anything from him or seen the utility people which do not have us scheduled to come out.
We finally had to go with another company just so we could get our fence in before it got to cold.
I sent him a certified letter on Monday the 10th requesting a refund or we will go to court and still have not heard from him.
