Dish Network Complaint - Bad Company Practices
CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA -- Upon terminating our subscription to DISH Network, we were asked to pay the termination fee pro-rated for the 6 out 24 months to satisfy their contract at 10 per month. That was anticipated. But, we have to mail all the equipment back to DISH, or we will be charged for it, and they will not remove the dish satellite off our roof. I also have to go up on the roof and get a piece off of the dish or I will be charged for it. Why don't they come and get their own equipment? Nor was I told about this stipulation. We were told by DISH customer service that we should just dump the satellite in the trash!! - which will go into a landfill or burn in China. Bad business practice I would say. I am very disappointed.
Also, while I was a subscriber, I wanted to move a TV to another part of the house, but DISH has to do that, which would have cost us $100! The cable company doesn't charge that. No more DISH for me!
