British Airways Catering Staff Complaint - Lack Of Anything To Eat That Is Gluten Free
I will be flying to Vienna on 22nd Dec 2008 from Heathrow at 10.55am and have had a call from the tour Co., Titan Tours to say there will not be a snack available for me - when indeed everyone else will get something. I am a coeliac and that means nothing to eat containing gluten. I belong to the Coeliac Society and in our quarterly magazine British Airways consistently get a 'thumbs down' comment from people who cannot get something to eat despite paying the same fare as everyone else. One in 10 people now have a gluten free allergy and it is quite disgusting that our national airline cannot provide something, even a salad. I have traveled all over the world and every other airline make some sort of effort.
Please get whoever supplies your food to talk to their dietitians about gluten free food and do something to remedy the situation.
