DHL Informative - DHL Can't Use A Map!
FREMONT, CALIFORNIA -- I ordered a cell phone from AT&T, on Tuesday, which - amazingly - was on the DHL truck for delivery on Thursday (I found out later...). By Saturday, I hadn't received it, so tracked the package. Then I learned that there was some problem with the address (which DHL had correctly).
I felt that DHL should have taken more effort to either call me (they had my phone number) or find my street - this is NOT a difficult street to find! I called DHL on Saturday - the package didn't get on the truck on Monday, I hadn't called early enough! On Tuesday, even after giving extra directions, they couldn't find my street again!
If you Google my street and zip, you get a map. What's the problem???
I called Tuesday evening gave MORE directions, but guess what! Wednesday - not on the truck - probably didn't call early enough! 6PM.
Today is Wednesday and customer service say they'll have someone call me in 2 hours... we'll see... I expect I'm going to have to collect the darn thing myself.
This seems to be one of those companies that believes in using a very pleasant company service rather than actually care about the job they're doing.
Very, very disappointing service. I won't miss this company at all.
