The Home Depot in Kapolei, HI Complaint - There's Something Fishy About Cutbacks At Kapolei Home Depot, HI.
96792, HAWAII -- I'm a former employee for The Home Depot in Kapolei, HI. When I first went to the orientation I felt like this company was really going to take care of their employees. That was until I was working there for a while. What really got me going was that all of a sudden management started letting people go for attendance they say and so forth, when there are people still working there with horrible attendance. All of a sudden they find various reasons why they're letting people go talking about they need to cut back on hours because they're not meeting their quotas financially that is.
People that I know would tell me all the time Home Depot in Kapolei has horrible service and there's never anybody there in any department that could help. It's funny that people would say something like that because at the time when I was working there we had a good amount of people working there. And when I decided to quit they were letting a whole bunch of people go. So now, it's probably worse. So bad that when I see and talk to a few people that work there, they say it's ridiculous. Management is cutting back on these people, but yet they're pulling people out of their own departments to cover for other departments that are unmanned. How stupid, retarded and backwards is that.
It's funny that management get salary pay and they cut back on employees because their not meeting quotas and yet when you step foot in Kapolei Home Depot there's like nobody there to help. How about cutting back on management salary and actually hiring more people. Matter of fact, give the employees that are working more departments a raise. How about them apples? But no, management cuts back and people then expects other sales associates to cover other departments. What gets me is, I wonder if corporate even knows about this. I mean who's not to say that these people aren't running this stuff internally, they probably are for all we know.
Pretty fishy huh?
