McDonald's Corporation Complaint - Terrible Service By One Employee At Union Station, DC
WASHINGTON, DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA -- I work near Union Station, DC. I am a Contractor with Amtrak. Every morning I go to McDonalds in Union Station (50 Massachusetts Ave NE Washington, DC 20002) for breakfast. I take a Mcgriddle with just egg( No Sausage / No Cheese) with a small coffee. It is not such a complex order. I order it at every Mcdonalds and they charge me $2.74 every time and at every place for the whole thing including coffee.
One of the employee did not understand how to ring up for this order. Instead of asking any of her employees or her manager, she asked me how to do ring the order. I said see I don't really know but I guess you ring up whole Mcgriddle value meal and put in no sausage and no cheese. She rang up and the total was $3.74. I thought it is her first time and did not say anything. When I got my order it had Mcgriddle with Bacon, egg. I went back and politely showed her what happened, she replaced my order. This did not happen with any other employee. She was the only one that had this problem.
After few days I came across the same employee. I thought by now she remembered me as I come every day and she said previously "see this is first time I got this order from next time I will remember you". This time instead of asking how to ring it, she asked me "how much are you charged every day?" I told her $2.74 including a small coffee. She didn't get it so I told her repeatedly it was including the coffee. She did not listen to me and told me that the told me that the total was $3.74 once again. Once again I politely told her "it was $2.74 with coffee". I thought she will apologize for not listening to me and give me the right price. Instead she says "you never told me it was with coffee" and started arguing with me and also told "you should have gone to the people who take your order daily, why did you come to me". Am I the person who can say what the price is for a Mcgriddle? This is where my patience went out of control. I told her "do you think I care for money? This service sucks and you can be sure that you lost your daily customer". She did not care.
Worst part I got a "SAUSAGE" in the Mcgriddle, no Egg. I understand the pressure a waiter is under when serving customers but this is not the way you talk to a customer who is willing to help you understand what he wants.
This is the worst service I have ever got from any of the fast food chains.
