Starbucks Complaint - Too Much Bad @ Lipscomb U
GREEN HILLS, TENNESSEE -- I've finally had enough with the Starbucks @ Lipscomb University. The last four weeks service has sucked from the barista being rude to product being out.
This last time was enough though. First, the barista waved a group of girls ahead of me, even though I was in line first, because she knew them. Then, I waited in line 15 minutes during my class break (I only have 1 during a 4 hour class, so I watch time closely) because the barista was socializing with the group that cut in line. There was a barista with an ipod on completely ignoring everyone and a third employee behind the counter walking back and forth but not working on orders or acknowledging customers. Then, when I finally get up to order, I am told that they are out of the drink I wanted (not that I would have to wait for more to be made). But it's awfully convenient that the girls ahead of me managed to get the same drink and all their orders were filled.
Then when I contacted Starbucks to tell them how bad the service was, I was told my comments were important and would have a response as soon as possible. Yeah right! That never happened.
There's a Seattle's Best in one of the other buildings. It's not as good quality, but the service is friendlier and they always have product in stock. The better service is worth not having to wait, be treated like crap, and then have no beverage to show for it.
