Sprint Complaint - Horrible Phone And Service
HAMPTON, VIRGINIA -- I was with sprint for 2 years. At the end of my contract my phone started acting up. I was not able to make or receive calls. The phone was cutting on and off in the middle of calls. When my contract was over I decided to go with another company. I informed Sprint of that and they offered me a deal that just could not be passed up. I signed another 2 year contract with Sprint. I had the Samsung 520 or 530 one of the new one. (the slide one) I got the phone Aug. 7 and the buttons stopped working, the phone was making calls on its own, the internet would start when you slide the phone up, the phone will mute when you are in the middle of a call and when the battery goes dead it does not give you any warnings it just hangs up, the back lighting stays on, all of this started happening on Sept. 10. I called customer service they told me to bring it into the store for a tech person could look at it but it would cost me $35 but he would credit it to my account. When I got to the store, the guy had not put a credit on my account. I thought that if I went to the store where I got the phone, they would just be able to replace the phone since I had just got it. They informed me that I was outside of the 30 return warranty and I would have to pay the $35. I informed them that I was not going to pay them $35.
I told them that I was going to go to another company. They ended up checking the phone for free and told me that I should not have any problems. A month later, now I am really outside of the 30 day window, the phone is still messed up. All this to say Sprint suck. I will be cancelling my contract.
