Travelocity Complaint - Worst Experience With Travel Website
DES MOINES, IOWA -- A friend purchased a roundtrip for me for thanksgiving. I needed to add not change but add a trip on top of the initial roundtrip. I contacted the Customer Service Department the representative I talked to, didn't understand what I was saying, he had a strong Indian accent and was not understand my English accent. I tried to explained several times I was not wanting to cancel my current itinerary but trying to add an itinerary. He was not understanding and placed me on hold. After being connected to another, who I had to reexplained what I was trying to do - this representative again was having difficulty with her English and I couldn't understand due to her heavy accent. I requested a supervisor and the situation was not resolved. I called again today 11/24/08 after 45 mn and being placed and hold by different representatives who none of them took accountability to help us in I MUST SAY PURCHASING tickets, we were bounced again to three different representatives.
We were then not placed on hold as my spouse and I were having a conversation, the representative didn't make himself known as I explained my frustration and then told we were going to speak to a supervisor James R who by the way also didn't speak clear English but who promised to call me back and actually now looking at my clock never did. What is the most frustrating about this customer service, is lack there of, the lack of transparency, the lack of training but foremost the lack of ACCOUNTABILITY.
This was an awful experience which took 2hrs of my time and my spouse- where no one came through and no one provided a clear answer... Badly done TRAVELOCITY BADLY DONE!!!
