Carnival Cruise Line Complaint - Unsatisfied Customer
MIAMI, FLORIDA -- Being a first time cruiser in 2004, I had a good time and decided to sponsor a family and friends cruise. We sailed August 30, 2008 - September 6, 2008. Prior to sailing I purchased a carnival squeeze bottle, a beach towel, and a sports bag that was SUPPOSE to include a towel and water bottle as gifts for my son. After returning home I reviewed my order form and realized that the sports bag was missing items. Those items was the water bottle and towel. Assuming they accidentally forgot to put them in the bag because I purchased similar items I called carnival's guest relations department to report the missing items. I was told they would research my inquiry and contact me. Two weeks later I received a letter stating that all items were delivered in the bag and they would not credit or send the missing items. Disappointed with their conclusion I gave them another call. I told them that the items must have been removed and that I would like to receive what should have been in my bag.
A few weeks later I received a similar letter saying that their conclusion is final and they were not going to satisfy the issue. TRANSLATION: The staff told them that all items was included at delivery and the customer who just sponsored a group of fifteen people is a liar.
10 Weeks and Counting.....
