MyFreeEstimates.com Informative - Scammed $450 And To Top It Off - Laughed At By Their Employees - Service Leads

Service Leads
Review by Jonijc on 2008-11-25
NORTHERN COLORADO, COLORADO -- I have never in my life been treated so rudely by a company. I called to ask why they charged me $450 dollars when I had not purchased any leads from them in months and they said they would have someone call me back. I waited...and no one called me back. I was very polite the first time, the second time I called I was a still very polite until the person who answered the phone started to have a little "fun" with me by telling me that, "yes, we are trying to rip you off." What he didn't understand was that yes, by taking money without delivering services agreed upon really is ripping someone off. When I told him this was serious he got extremely rude, telling there was nothing he could do, "he could play the violin for me", "everyone was out to lunch and yes, he was the manager" (that could do nothing for me). The guy asked me if it would help if he spoke Chinese to me while he chuckled. All I want is my money back. I'm in shock that this company would give their employees the right to speak to someone the way he spoke to me. I've been in sales and marketing my entire adult life and the day I treat a customer so incredibly rude is the day I give it up.

I can't warn folks enough about this company...STAY AWAY FROM THEM. THEY ARE BAD BUSINESS AND BAD NEWS FOR A SMALL TO MEDIUM COMPANY LOOKING TO GROW THEIR SALES. Email me if you want more info, I'm going to the BBB next!

How did they get their hands on your money? If they just sent an invoice, simply don't pay it. If they charged it to a credit card, simply dispute the charge with your credit card issuer - if they took it directly from a bank account, dispute the charge with your bank.
