Subway Complaint - Don't Buy Gift Cards From Subway # 37019 - 2810 Bicentennial Pkwy Suite 110, Henderson, NV
HENDERSON, NEVADA -- My wife and I received 2 $10 Gift Cards for Subway. Had no problem using it the first time the bill was $8.38 and had a credit of $1.62 left on that card. The receipt number for that visit on 03/22/08 @ 12:08:27pm Receipt # 0000052761.
On our next visit 06/22/08 @ 12:14:30pm I ordered a Turkey Sandwich and a BMT. I told the person there that I had a credit of $1.62 on my 1st Gift Card and wanted to pay off the balance with my other $10 Gift Card. He seemed to be a new employee and asked his co-worker if that was okay. The co-worker said that I can't do that transaction. I would have to pay for it with my other card. I asked her what happens to the balance on both cards? She replied that I lose it. I didn't want to argue with her, as there was a long line behind me and I used my other Gift Card to pay for my sandwiches. Now I had another credit of $1.62 on this card. The receipt number for that visit is 0000063804.
The went onto the Subway web site and put in a complaint and explained the problem. After I explained my situation I entered it and got a response that they will relay the info to the store manager and they will get back to me. It's been 5 months and I haven't heard anything. I guess this Subway shop does not believe in Customer Service. I haven't been there since and have been telling all of my friends to avoid that sandwich shop. Has anyone experienced this with Gift Cards?
