Customers Informative - Pathetic People On Black Friday

Review by 43631 on 2008-11-28
ALL OVER -- It disgusts me how RUDE people are on this "holiday" I just read a story that a temp. worker was trampled and killed at a Walmart, there were 2 shootings resulting in two deaths, AT A TOYS R US! I mean COME ON PEOPLE! Is all this chaos REALLY worth it? Are we trying to teach our children that if you don't get what you want, to shoot the other person? I don't see why this day is thought of as a "holiday" to some.

Call me crazy, but I'd think that people wouldn't want to purposely harm others on a holiday.

The shooting at TRU was gang related, could have happened on any day, in any place. I don't think you can hang that one on Black Friday.

The shooting here is Southern Californiawas gang related. The stampede at Walmart on the east coast that cost a man his life was caused by pure consumer greed. It's sick!

I just drove past a Walmart and the parking lot was so empty that you'd think they were closed. That gives me a real clear picture that every fool and their mother were cramming themselves through the doors this morning. I wonder what percentage of them really got any type of killer deal. It's simple math to me... crowds of people + a small supply of bargains = hostility.

2 more idiots we won't have to worry about.

Gangs don't give a thought of where they are when it comes to gun fights. A toy store, middle of the street or a hospital emergency room can and have become instant battlegrounds.

I did my shopping online yesterday. Deals and no crowds! Many places even had free shipping.

My comment was NOT inappropriate. Both the bad guys are gone and the world is a better place because of it.

2 down.... 5 billion bad guys are left.

John is correct, the shooting in Palm Desert was over two girls getting into a fist fight with their boy friends following it up with a gun battle. Toys R Us of all places! Take it outside to the back alley where they can kill each other and not put anyone else at risk.

I saw that on the news and thought, Thank goodness I'm making gifts this year. Can't afford to buy all the stuff the kids want. Still no job, so making gifts, plus it shows that it's from the heart and not a toymaker.

SilverWngs I bet anyone receiving a gift from you would be more appreciative because you took the time to make them, which means you took the time to think of them. This is where "it's the thought that counts" comes in.

All my homemade gifts from my daughter are the best presents I've ever received..especially the homemade cards that always say "my mom rocks" on them..LOL

This sort of thing is going to get worse and I don't mean to sound negative. People just have lost respect one for another. Silver, my mother always cut and arranged her own flowers and delivered them herself. She never called a florist locally. I agree, those gifts someone took the time to make himself are so very special.

Im gonna try to make a fleece blanket for my son its 6x4 two sided. then you make cuts on all sides then tie the two strips all around. A friend made these for her kids a few yrs ago when she was out of work and I thought I would try this too.

For my daughter she is into all things Twilight (she's 13). So, i thought I would make a (looks like a shadow box) but you can put postcards and pictures on it. I figured do the Twilight colors red and black and the background be a midnight blue. It's got ribbons criss-crossing the board. i thought I would get her a Twilight key chain or a button and put on the board, and try to find pictures of the cast and slip on the board as well. Gonna try to do all this before they are out of school for the holiday.
