WallyPark LAX Complaint - Misrepresented Service

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA -- We left our car at WallyPark LAX during our vacation in October 2008. We almost did not park there because we could not find any self-parking covered spaces within the facility and didn't want to leave the car exposed on the roof for the 2-1/2 weeks we would be gone. When I told the attendant I wanted to leave to go to another parking facility and why, he talked me into staying by representing that he would valet park the car for self-parking rates. Well, when we left the car it was clean and when we picked it up it was filthy.

Clearly it had been parked on the roof the entire time we were gone; there is no doubt about it given the dust and dirt it was covered in and the run marks from the overnight dew and drizzle. WallyPark was unapologetic and unwilling to reduce the charges. We will never park there again.

It's a matter of principle -- I object to getting ripped off by a dishonest business. If you don't, well, I feel sorry for you.
