Intelius Complaint - People Finder Really Just A Credit Card Scam

Review by Lin10 on 2008-12-01
CALIFORNIA -- So my story is I was looking for my husbands uncle, the poor man had been moved from his apartment to assisted living. Unfortunately he has Alzheimer, s so would not realize his relatives would be looking for him. Intelius is a people database, basically a find people site. I agreed to pay then 95 cents for whatever information they might have. They keep billing you $19.95 every month until you catch on. They say it is in the fine print, I wonder how much of their revenue is from people who don't catch on. They are a huge company, theoretically they get revenue doing background checks on renters.

Do we really need the deceptive fine print to scam $19.95 from customers. If business is that bad maybe it is time to move on.

I looked at the Intelius page. The billing options are clear and easy to understand.

Try Zabasearch. They give you address's, phone numbers and sometimes the persons date of birth, all for free.
