Dish Network Complaint - Do Not Use Dish Network!!! Worst Customer Service And Business Practices I Have Ever Encountered
DALY CITY, CALIFORNIA -- I signed up for Dish Network through AT&T. I canceled my service after 2 months due to the horrible service to find out that on top of that their customer service and business practices were even worse. One time I called to order something on pay per view where I was informed I would have to wait for less then a minute to speak with a representative, an hour later I finally got a hold of a representative after missing have of the event I was trying to order. I asked if I could receive any discount since I was informed I would only wait a minute and now I had missed half of the event, but instead of being understanding and helpful like I would expect any customer service representative to be, she began calling me a liar and refused to help me.
When I started service I had to buy a $200 basic receiver, which they didn't inform me I was actually purchasing and that if I canceled my service I wouldn't receive any money back when I returned the box. I spent 2 hours on the phone speaking with a number of supervisors about anyway of returning this box. All of which had no idea that I even bought a box and refused to help. I finally spoke with the head supervisor of the west coast, Nicole who was incredibly rude and would barely even speak to me offering no sort of help what so ever. I am just so disgusted that a company of their magnitude would be able to continue to operate with their absolutely horrendous customer service and business practices.
If you are considering what cable provider to use DO NOT USE DISH, if you choice to do so I can guarantee you that it will be the worst company you will have ever had to deal with. Unorganized, not friendly, very unhelpful, and worst of all blame their poor business practices on YOU (the customer)!!!!
