Les Schwab Complaint - Damage to Truck - Tire Mount and Balance

Review by Too Much on 2008-12-02
COLUMBIA FALLS, MONTANTA -- I took in 4 new tires to have them mounted and balanced at Les Schwab, Columbia falls, Montana.

When told the tires were mounted, I entered the truck and found that my ignition key had been pulled out in the wrong position. As I tried to get the key to insert, I heard a click that came from the fuse box. I had blown the meter fuse. Replacing the fuse that I had to buy from the NAPA across the street, it tripped instantly.

At this point I was to angry to speak to anyone so I went about my shopping day. As I tried to get into the back of my tailgate, I found it had been slammed shut. The latch was not worked when closing the gate. The gate latch was damaged beyond repair and I was unable to open the tail gate.

I understand that Les Schwab takes pride in customer service, so my question is what will be done to make this right?

Good that you tried to suppress your anger. But in your case it would have been better to tell them immediately what you discovered about the ignition switch and the tailgate. They will probably deny any damage considering you left the premises without saying anything.
