HP/Hewlett-Packard Complaint - Technical Support was not "supportive" at all!
I was having trouble re-installing the ink cartridges on my Officejet 5610 all in one printer/scanner/fax/copier. The instruction manual had some basic illustrations that made it look easy enough, but I simply could not get the cartridges into the chamber. It was like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. I called technical support-it took forever to get to a human being--and then they wouldn't help me because they said my printer was no longer under warranty. They kept trying to sell me a new warranty plan for $75!!! I kept telling the guy that my printer wasn't broken--I just needed to know the "trick" to changing the cartridges. He argued with me for half an hour when he could have told me in two minutes how to replace the cartridges. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that none were available... They were "all in a meeting."
I've had this printer for just over a year and I can't believe that HP wouldn't tell me how to fix the problem. They have lost a customer for life.
