Disneyland (California) Complaint - Over Crowding
RIDGECREST, CALIFORNIA -- I took my daughter to Disneyland Anaheim on December 6th for her birthday but we were there for 2 days on the 5th and the 6th. The streets were so crowded there wasn't room to breath. Whenever we found a place to stand or sit we were herded out like cattle because the roomy roped off sections were for preferred guests. Well I paid hundreds of hard earned dollars just like everyone else and wasn't able to enjoy a thing. I spent 12 hours in the park on Saturday and only went on 3 rides. Not because of the lines but because there were so many people we couldn't even get to the rides. I think they shouldn't have preferred seating because we all pay money to get into the park to see the same things and I went at Christmas time to see the lights and snow. Well I was herded around to the back alley behind the shops on main street and didn't get to see a thing. We weren't even allowed to stop to watch the 10 minute firework show and by the time we were out to the other end on main street had missed the snow.
I am very disappointed and think I should be reimbursed some of my money. My daughter is flying back to Alabama and had a crappy time on her birthday. With all the hype about special treatment on your birthday and behind the scenes looks she got nothing. What can be done about this?
