Rally Motors (Hyundai) Complaint - Extremely Poor Sales Department And Possible Scam
MONCTON, NEW BRUNSWICK -- On 29 Nov we purchased a new Hyundai Accent for our daughter. We had been in contact with the dealership for a few days and the salesman was expecting us. We called before leaving the house and informed him we would be there shortly...when we arrived he was "busy" and we were handed off to another salesman. Once we decided on the car we went to the office for paperwork. The first problem was the $100.00 deposit required for the car, despite the fact we were taking it home that day. We paid the deposit with assurances from the salesman that it would be rebated immediately the sale was completed. The salesman repeatedly left the office for extended periods (up to 15 minutes)with no explanation. It was readily apparent that he was not interested in this sale.
My wife and I left the dealership expecting our $100.00 to be refunded. As of 09 Dec it has not been. The dealership has been called and it was to be sorted out immediately, it was not. I have emailed the dealership and they do not respond nor do they have the manager call as requested.
I have emailed Hyundai Canada and they their response was "call the dealership" Quite frankly I am beginning to think it is a scam where they hope you just don't realize or check to see if you have in fact been rebated your money.
