Empire Carpet And Blinds Complaint - Terrible Sales And Delivery

Review by kb60657 on 2008-12-09
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS -- I sepnt thousands on blinds and the inept salesperson:

1) Had no idea what he was selling and thus was virtually useless and wasted my time repeatedly
2) Failed to follow-up on my order and thus didn't realize there was a problem until 4 weeks after the blinds were supposed to be ordered (thus they were 6 weeks late being installed)
3) Make the contract so confusing that the installers couldn't even read what was supposed to be done.

In general, I would suggest going basically ANYWHERE else for your blinds. Because the sales guy was so clueless I got a really good price, but honestly, it just wasn't worth it.

Empire Today hires contractors to act as sales reps. They are not employees of Empire and can set their own pricing. Be very careful as your not dealing with an employee. If you don't believe me check out any ad from Empire hiring sales people and they tell you that you must incorporate as your own business within 30 days.
