David O'Neal Automotive Group Raleigh NC Complaint - Sold Worthless Warranty

RALEIGH, NORTH CAROLINA -- In May, 2006, I bought a new car from David O'Neal Automotive Group in Raleigh NC. I bought an extended warranty on the car that covered it for 7 years/100,000 miles because I put a lot of miles on my car. The warranty was through Ultimate Warranty Company and I paid $1565 for it. I recently found out that I need to have over $900 worth of repairs on my car. When I took the car in for the repairs, I found out that Ultimate Warranty Company is out of business and that the repairs would not be covered and I would have to pay for them.

I contacted David O'Neal to find out what they would do to make the product I bought from them good. I was basically told nothing. They said all they could do is cancel the policy and put me on a class action suit against the warranty company.

I feel this is unacceptable since I bought the product from David O'Neal and I am sure they made a nice commission from the sale. They do not seem to care at all about the customer after the sale.
