Mr. Lube Canada Complaint - Bad Service and No Resolution

Review by Auggie on 2008-12-09
VANCOUVER -- After waiting 40 minutes in line for an oil change I was told that they had no 10-40 oil that was required for my 2007 Dodge truck.

I asked why they didn't let me know before waiting in line for 45 minutes and they said they were sorry. I asked to speak with the Manager - he was not there. I left my phone number for him to call me - they never did. I asked the service bay attendant for a free oil change for my inconvenience of wasting an hour of my time. He said no but he cold offer a coupon for a discount.

I called the head office - spoke to a receptionist and told them my story and that I never received a callback and I thought they should do a better job of dealing with a situation like this where there was a major customer inconvenience and they couldn't do an oil change. She said she would have someone call me back - no one ever did.

I emailed the comments email on the Mr. Lube website and also had no response.

So now all I can do is tell other people that Mr. Lube doesn't deal with customer complaints at all. Better to get your oil changed at a smaller independent service company.

Thanks for reading.
