Wamart Complaint - Lost my pictures - Film developed

Review by arianasmom73085 on 2004-01-16
LUBBOCK, TEXAS -- My baby was 3 weeks old on chrismas 2003. I took pictures of her christmas at 3 different homes. I turned my film in a walmrt to get developed and when I went to pik it up, they said they could't find it. They had my other film that I had dropped off, but it isn't of my baby's christmas. Now I don't have any pictures of her first christmas to put in her baby book.

I would be LIVID!!! I thought Wal-Mart developed it themselves, on premises. If they do, they can't "lose them". I know they have disclaimers stating they are not responsible for lost film, but it doesn't seem fair somehow. Of course it can't replace your daughter's Xmas pictures, but perhaps Wal-Mart could offer you a free "sitting portrait " PACKAGE, for your troubles? (in this case, a "free roll of film" just won't cut it).

Lesson learned: Wal-Mart sucks.
