Travelers Insurance Company Complaint - Avoid Traveler's Insurance!
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS -- Please take this seriously, I learned the hard way. I had an accident at work back in April which resulted in a torn rotator cuff, broken bone in my elbow and nerve and muscle damage in my wrist, all due to a mechanical failure, not mine. Anyway, It is now December and still NO approval for my surgeries (the COMPANY'S doctors have said the same thing my doctors have said 3 surgeries are required) I am off work completely since July and they have yet to approve workman comp checks. MRI and EMG tests have all shown the same result. The company's doctor actually called them thinking something needed to be clarified, and they didn't give him the time of day either. Am I being a crybaby? My doctor says the torn rotator and broken bone are not going to heal properly by themselves. Now they want to send me to something called pain management. Maybe I can wish myself better. In the mean time my house is going up on foreclosure this coming Friday and I'll have to give away my cats and dogs.
I'm sure quite a few of you have had the same story to tell, which in a sad way makes me feel like I'm not alone. God still loves us and I know that will get us thru. Merry Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!
