Route 66 Shoes Complaint - Falling Apart - Dress Boots

Review by sam blaisdell on 2008-12-11
ST. PAUL, MINNESOTA -- I bought these really cute Route 66 dress boots that looked like knock-off Doc Martins. I should have just went and spent the money on real ones, within 3 months of wearing the shoes they both started falling apart. The is this huge rip from one side to the other and now the water and snow are getting in and my feet have gotten soaked. I guess I just expected them to hold up a little longer than 3 months.

I have had my tennis shoes for almost 3 years and they don't look ratty at all. They have stayed together too.

Isn't Route 66 a Kmart shoe?

I have a pair of Doc Martens I bought more than 10 years ago and they still look great.

I didn't know you sported Doc's JC? boots?

How much did they cost?

Wow JC!!

I've had the same pair of docs since freshman year, almost 13 years. They are worn, but they are so comfortable I can't bear to get rid of them. The soles and the outsides are still intact so I refuse to throw them out.
