Circuit City Complaint - Failure To Deliver On Item Ordered For Store Pick-up
I can see why these guys are going out of business. It ought to be called Circus City.
I completed a transaction on line to buy an IHome Clock Radio that was available at their store 1 hour from where I live. It was not available at our local CC or on line. Billed on the credit card and ready for pick-up in 24 minutes. Ha! I received a call from the store telling me that they didn't have the product and to call the 800 number for resolution. While the store employee was sorry and kind, there 800 customer service at the escalated level was rude and useless. They offered the same item in black instead of the silver at $20 more than what there web site advertised the silver for. The robot mouth on the other end just kept saying the same thing over and over. "This is the best we can do and you can not escalate to a higher level, I am the top." Wrong! I am the top. I've spent thousands of dollars at CC over the years. I am the highest level your "need of sales" will escalate to and you will not be getting any more of my money or the money of anyone I know.
You wouldn't honor your own offer and transaction or take a $20 hit with a substitute to hold on to me as a customer. I have no use for you and your failing business.
