HSBC Complaint - Excessive NSF Fees
SYRACUSE, NEW YORK -- First I would like to warn those who bank with HSBC; not to rely on the online banking for balance information. There is a problem with their software (per corporate), and the balance field reads incorrect when viewing transactions ($100+). The best part is that you get to pay fees when you balance to their numbers. This is the second major software issue that they have had in the past 3-4 month's. I have been in contact with the VP with no luck so far. They have also advised me on numerous occasions that a business deposit gets credit for the first $100, but you need to be able to figure out when that is; not next day! A few of my customers bank with HSBC, yet these checks do not get credited any faster; hmmmm.
Forget about overdraft protection, because as a business, you must qualify for an enormous amount of money (tricky).
