Goodyear Complaint - Horrible Tires And Even Worse Warranty Support - Assurance Tires + Extended Warranty
Assurance Tires + Extended Warranty - Complaint
CHICAGO, ILLINOIS -- Front tires failed with less that 17k miles on them when belt separated from tread. Tires became out of round and wobbly causing the steering column to shake violently.
Extended warranty Roadside - refused to come help
Extended warranty replacement Road hazard - refused to inspect.
Acorn Tire Goodyear - refused to honor 80,000 mile basic and 80,00 mile extended warranty claiming they had expired. Tread still at 95% plus. If I insert a quarter into the tread, more than 1/3 of the quarter in the in the deep channel 1/2 of the quarter disappears.
Took tires to third Gemini dealer who claimed I was abusing the tires by racing (see pics on the amount of tread and see if you agree)
Tires are as useless as Goodyear's warranty.

Tires can be seen at UIC Hospitals parking lot daily on my trunk along with invoice/warranty paperwork. (Added Dec 11th - a notarized letter from Dealer that replaced tires stating belt separation and not drag racing is the cause of the failure) I hope to keep as many people as I can from making the same error in trusting Goodyear Tires, Goodyear Warranties, and especially Acorn Tires in Chicago.
