Toys R Us Complaint - Bad Customer Service
LAKELAND, FLORIDA -- I had to laugh at the TRU associate that gave laa of the concerned cutomers a bad time. This person is a true example of the type of person that works at this company.
I purchased a Sassy Seat Doorway Jumper and after watching the infant use the device we saw that if the baby jerked right or left the seat could turn over. We immediately took this back to the store only to exchange this for a different type of unit only to be told too bad because we did not have the receipt or original box. Now we even have to have the box? I talked to the Toys R Us corporate office and they gave me the same story. Bad for busuness especially in today's economy. I worked for 35 years with a grocery company in Florida that even accepted something purchased from another vendor just to please the customer. My wife and I purchased over $100 of product the same night from Toys R Us.
Now that I find out how this corporation treats their customers we will be taking these items back to the store and shopping somewhere else. There are a lot of other toy companies out there that want to please and retain customers.
