Simply Wireless Complaint - Simply Wireless Will Lie To You!
SPRINGFIELD, VIRGINIA -- On Monday, December 15th, 2008 my wife and I bought a set of stereo bluetooth headphones from the Simply Wireless Kiosk at Springfield mall in Springfield, Virginia. We paid CASH and asked, before the sale was completed, if we could return the item if there were any problems. The associate said "absolutely...just keep your receipt...". Yeah, right...
The headphones were defective and I returned them the next day (Tuesday, December 16th, 2008) and was told that, since I paid cash, I would have to wait 15 days for a refund check! Yeah, you read it right...15 days! For a cash purchase!
I then tried to contact their customer service (a joke). The employee at the kiosk even lied to me when I asked for the name of the store owner, giving me a name that he said he couldn't spell or pronounce correctly and stating "He's middle-eastern or something...I can't pronounce it..."
After standing there for over half-an-hour, I considered calling the police and then, decided to call Springfield Mall's customer service. They were very helpful and are trying at this moment to get me a refund for the defective product that Simply Wireless sold me and lied to me about. They also suggested I lodge a Better Business Bureau complaint, which I will do.
Do not deal with these people...all they want to do is take your money and then make you jump through hoops to get it back. Check the internet...there are pages and pages of complaints against them.
What kind of company just blows it's upset customers off like this? This was our first and last experience with Simply Wireless...they should change their name to Simply Worthless.
