AT&T Wireless Complaint - AT&T Wireless Coverage And Call Quality Is About As Bad As It Gets
94550, CALIFORNIA -- AT&T Wireless has the absolute worst cellular network in the country. I live in the SF Bay Area (East Bay) and voice quality is HORRIBLE. This network is completely unacceptable for conducting any sort of business calls. I can barely make out what the person on the other end is saying and often times have to ask them to repeat what they said. As you would imagine this becomes very annoying and in most cases I am asked to call them back once I reach a land line. Not only is the voice quality very poor but the coverage is so bad that I drop calls on a daily basis. It is most embarrassing when I make contact with someone, the call drops, I call back, the call drops again, I call back and by that time the person on the other end is completely annoyed. Stay away from AT&T wireless. I have another phone through Verizon and over the years Verizon has proven to be the best voice quality you can find in the SF Bay Area. I actually conducted a test as I was driving from Livermore, CA to San Francisco, CA. I was on a conference call so I decided to call in from my AT&T Wireless phone as well as my Verizon phone. As I drove towards the Bay Bridge, I was not able to make out what people were saying on the AT&T phone since their voices were garbled but the Verizon phone was crystal clear. The AT&T phone eventually dropped the call where the Verizon phone kept the call all the way to my end destination with very good call quality. Bottom line is AT&T cellular network leaves a lot to be desired.
If it were not for the iPhone service only being provided through AT&T, I doubt that they would even be around anymore. I am surprised anyone would use AT&T, the network engineers should be ashamed of themselves.....get a clue and provide a service that works.
