Super Buffet Compliment - Good Food At Good Prices
LACEY, WASHINGTON -- We ate at the new Super Buffet today after a shopping trip at WalMart*, and were pleasantly surprised. On entering the restaurant, there is a beautiful fountain in the what I would have to call a lobby. We were shown to our table and the waitress asked what we wished to drink, and said to help ourselves. There were eight steam tables arranged in the serving area in four groups of two, with two more crosswise at the end. The selection of foods was mind-boggling, from sauteed octopus to General Tso's chicken, from sushi to chicken on a stick, and roasted ham to crawfish. The food was delicious and well prepared, and the hot tea was strong enough to suit me.
Usually, the tea looks like slightly colored water and tastes like it too. They charge $9 for lunch, which is comparable to other Chinese buffets in the area, and has a larger selection. A gastatorial delight.
