CVS Informative - I also purchased a gift card at CVS
I purchased a Birthday Gift Card for $100, the receipt I have shows it was activated. When I went to use the card it says there is 0 balance. I called CVS and the lady said she would investigate it and never received a phone call. I will go in to see if they will refund my money. American Express told me if I faxed my personal information to them they would release the funds. Seems interesting to find someone else had the same problem from CVS and they didn't get their money back.
Very Scary, I consider this fraud on their part as the receipt says it was activated and they are not sending the money into American Express.
