Expedia.com Complaint - Flight Cancelled
ORANGE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA -- I purchased a ticket through Expedia about a month ago. My flight was cancelled the day I was supposed to fly. I was not notified by Expedia even though it was cancelled about 8 hours before my flight was supposed to leave. This is just the beginning of my frustration. I called the airline I was flying on to try to get a new flight and was told that there were flights available but I would have to go through Expedia to get on one. I called Expedia and was on hold for over an hour. By the time I finally talked to someone there were no more flights available. I was put on a flight for the next day and that flight was also cancelled (not Expedia's fault). I called Expedia to get another flight and was again put on hold for an hour and a half. I was told that the agent was 90% sure that she had me booked on a flight but I had to call back the next day to make sure. Now I have to call Expedia and wait on hold for at least an hour to see if I have a flight tomorrow.
I would absolutely recommend against using Expedia to book flights. It is worth the extra money to be able to have better help if you have your flight cancelled.
