Beyer Music Complaint - Price Gouging - Piano & Organ Sales

Review by tjzaudio on 2004-01-24
TORRINGTON, CONNECTICUT -- Beyer Music is a Piano Dealer local to where I live. I don't know about you, but I like to shop locally if I can and support local merchants. I looked at pianos from a company called Conover-Cable. Mr.Ken Buyer showed me a piano I was interested in buying call a CC-144F a very attractive 44" French Provincial Cherry Piano. His special sale price on this piano was only $3999.00 sounds like a great deal right! Wrong! According to Samick Piano(SMC)the worlds largest piano manufacturer in Korea say that the MSRP of this piano is only $3325.00. I guess you try to be nice and shop locally or at least within you own state, and you get it stuck up your ***! It's now wonder why people shop online and purchase large items like this on ebay, they are tired of being jerked around by these dealers. AGAIN, LET THIS SERVE AS A NOTICE TO ALL PIANO DEALERS IN THE STATE OF CONNECTICUT.....IF I CATCH YOU IN A LIE...I WILL CALL YOU OUT AND POST MESSAGES ON EVERY WEBSITE I CAN FIND! I WANT EVERY CONSUMER WHO WANTS TO PURCHASE A PIANO TO BE ON THEIR GUARD AND BE EDUCATED!

Do yourself a favor and find another instrument. Apparently getting a piano is too much of a hassle for you.

Face it...........everything nowadays is marked up, or else stores don't make any money. Most of the retail stores I have worked in receive invoices with their shipment, and most of the merchandise in the stores is purchased for HALF OF WHAT YOU BUY IT FOR!!!!!!!!!!!!! So you think a couple hundred is a big deal...imagine a markup of 50%
