American Express Complaint - Card Cancellation
CARLISLE, PENNSYLVANIA -- My girlfriend has had an American Express Blue card for 3 months and yesterday it was canceled w/o warning.
At first about 3 day's ago I noticed that our credit line was decreased for an unknown reason and we hadn't even received a warning or anything. Then when we noticed that our card was being declined constantly we called AMEX and my girlfriend was being given the run-around by a woman in India who was rude and uninformative. She didn't understand most of the questions that were posed to her and she continued to say the same things that weren't helping at all.
I then was able to contact Experian, who was blamed for the cancellation, and they informed us that they were receiving lots of negative feedback due to AMEX blaming them for all of the recent cancellations.
I believe that AMEX is going to fall as an American staple and that everyone who is currently using an AMEX card should cut it up and wash their hands of a dirty company who is no longer serving the American needs.
