Sears.ca Complaint - Frustrated With Service
I placed two orders into Sears several weeks before Christmas... both items were listed as in stock and delivery dates were listed as December 18 and December 20th.
December 18th came and went and no email notifications or anything... I call them and basically was told that it was probably just delayed.. she said it was being shipped directly from the vendor so she didn't have any shipping information... so let it go for a day or two.. called back again, and was told that the item was now on back order and the delivery date was listed as January 5th... I asked her to cancel the order as I needed this item for Christmas.. she told me that the order process had gone to far and she could not cancel. I would have to return the item once it was delivered....
Second item didn't arrive by th 20th either.. although it says it was shipped the depot where it was to be delivered has not received anything.. I call Sears and all they say is that it was shipped. I ask if it can be traced and she tells me that they can't place a trace on an item until it has been missing for 10 days past the expected arrival date.
I'm very disappointed with this level of service... I still have not received any type of email stating the first shipment was delayed and when I check the status on-line.. it says back ordered and the expected delivery date still says December 18th.
This is very frustrating for me, I expect better of this from Sears. They are supposed to be a reputable company, but from my experience - they are definitely not dependable..
